I founded and deployed a community service hub which allows users and service agencies to interact efficiently on one platform. Through the intial stages of development, I acted as a Full-Stack Developer and ensured the functionality of the platform as well as creating essential features, such as sign up registration, keeping agency data secure, managing data from the backend, etc. I now have the opportunity to market ServiQ to agencies throughout the nation and help connect communities along the way.
I developed software for the Perception Department to analyze objects in a self-driving car system, helping improve its ability to understand its surroundings. To enhance object identification, I integrated YOLOv8 AI automation, making the system more efficient and accurate. I also worked closely with cross-functional teams to refine and optimize perception algorithms, ensuring smoother and more reliable performance.
I am developing a real-time updating web repository for research regarding consumer decisions on purchasing pharmaceutical products based on factors such as their location produced. Implementing a feature to scan images of drug labels with a camera and extracting text from it to then store into a database.
I've had the opportunity to mentor fellow undergraduate students on working with large-scale data scraping and high-performance computing, helping them collect over 8,000 instances of audio data for AI annotation. Along the way, I trained a large language model to replicate the processing power of advanced AI models, optimizing it for complex tasks. I also developed a script to efficiently process large MP3 files, making them easier to work with and generating over 500 usable data instances.
Through partnering with local small companies and freelance business owners. I have assisted small businesses in developing personalized websites for their operational needs.
I created an AI-powered fitness tool that personalizes workout recommendations based on a unique scoring system. To bring this to life, I developed the backend to implement an AI model that calculates a score from 1 to 100, helping generate customized workout plans tailored to individual fitness levels.
